Prior Yr Post Update — Update facility in the General Ledger module of standard Ross ERP 8.0. Update prior-year balances with values from prior-year postings and automatically generate a Prior Year Postings Update Report. When you post to prior years, you must run this process to carry forward the postings to the current balances. With the appropriate Company Control settings, the Prior Year Postings Update procedure rolls the balances forward through the years, as if the balances were going through year-end processing.
