Factor Code Maint — Maintenance facility in the General Ledger module of standard Ross ERP 8.0. Add, modify, delete, copy, and show factor codes. You use factor codes as part of the formula in derived percent allocation rules. An example of a derived percent allocation rule for which you must define a factor code is one in which you base the allocation on use, such as rental expense allocated to departments according to square foot use. The factor code definition tells the GL application how to calculate the basis percent to allocate to each recipient account.
