GL Balance Types — facility in the General Ledger module of standard Ross ERP 8.0. Add and maintain balance types. Each set of balances held in GL for an account code is defined as a balance type. It can represent financial or statistical data. All companies share balance types. Some types, such as ACTUAL, BUDGET, and COMMIT are predefined in the GL application. You cannot delete or disable predefined balance types.
