PM_U_002 · Partial Job Close

Partial Job Close — facility in the Process Manufacturing module of standard Ross ERP 8.0. This facility allows completed items from a job to be booked into inventory prior to the final completion of the job. The transfer of the items is made at standard or average cost (depending on the costing options in use). When the job is finally closed and all actual costs are known, any quantities and costs associated with the partial close are reversed. The partial close does not update weighted average or last costs on the inventory master.
