PM_M_046 · Final Job Close
Final Job Close — facility in the Process Manufacturing module of standard Ross ERP 8.0. This facility performs the final closing of an active job and the transfer of the final completed quantity into inventory. Batch and bin information may also be required. The inventory is updated at standard or actual cost depending on the options in place for the warehouse and if appropriate average and last cost are also updated. Once a job has been finally closed no further costs or times can be allocated to it. Therefore this routine should not be run i f there are any outstanding transactions associated with it that have not been entered into the system. The program wi ll check that all batch updates have been carried out.
